Yes, these are different than you generally read. Work load, tension due to xyz, etc.

Depression is real. We know depression is caused by persistent stress etc but there could be other reasons too. Here I talked about two of those other reasons. If faced with depression and you look for various solution based on common problems that causes depression then you just waste your time without any real lasting success. Stress are here for real too but small stress does not affect us human. We (our ancestors) lived in Jungle once with constant threats from fierce animals. We are all equipped with fighting stress. Few are more adapt to it.

I am mentioning other reasons of depression so that you could look at these points too if faced with Depression. You can look at these possible reasons if others are facing Depression issues too.

Short-term depression come and go. But, lasting depression can cause suicide. Only few survive. So, it is very good killing tool of witches. No, murder charges. Got it!

Few chemical causes depression like normal depression you may have felt or others have felt in any point in life. Few illness also affect mind in a way you won't assume that it can affect you in that way.
Typhoid is one such illness which causes depression very fast. Detection of Typhoid may happen many days after you really got affected by it.

Spreading Typhoid is easy. Just poke with infected needle. Even without any blood visible, target is affected with it. He usually won't notice that you touched him with that intent. Even if he will notice, he will ignore as nothing visible has happened. No pain felt.
You can poke him with any prop as well. Like a labour carrying his equipment and hit on target's leg. Then because of heavy equipment, target may fume on him but leave him thinking labourer just mistakenly hit him and not much harm has happened. Heavy equipment will hit a little so he has noticed it that something has hit his leg but first time attack with way is good as his good skin can puncture easily this way. Later on, you can infect him easily. Typhoid affects your skin and make it brittle. It last longer than a month. For one month, you can notice it easily but it take much longer that this time to fully recover from brittle skin.

Nathuram Godse should be remembered as

3. a revolutionary nationalist?

How future generation of India should remember Nathuram Godse? How present generation remember him? Present generation was not at Mahatma Gandhi's time. Present generation do not have context. So, the way history is written is important. How most of the Indian feel about his is important.

Pragya Thakur has raised this issue when she recently said that Nathuram was Nationalist. Kamal Haasan has termed him as terrorist.

I opining my view clearly here. I think he should be termed as Murderer. He could be termed as revolutionary somehow but no way as terrorist. Terrorism and Terrorist definition does not suit here.

According to BJP & RSS, he killed because due to him, our nation was divided into 2 based on Hindu-Muslim. That resulted in Lakhs of deaths but Gandhi couldn't be punished as there was no law then.

TV Commercial Rules - Are there any rules laid for TV commercials?

Few important rules I wish should be in Indian TV commercials. One is what to show, second is volume used in TV commercials, and third is total time it takes each day on our TV.

 Many times you may see some very dirty commercials in TV advertisement. It can be toilet cleaner commercials. Few advertisements to make an impact on your head shows very dirty part of toilets. Don't they know TV are seen on home and at different times. We eat at home, relax and do other different things and watch TV.

Few TV ad use very loud volume on their TV to attract our attention. There should be no volume change. Why there should be any volume change. We paid for TV and we pay for channels now. It is our time and we paid for the time to enjoy.

Many times you may have felt about how much time ad are showing on TV. If you watch 30 minutes TV serial then 15 minutes time you may be watching commercials. This is too much! Why we need to waste 50 percent of our time we get from our busy life?

Food Security Bill - Good or Bad for India ?

Food Security Bill was passed by Parliament yesterday. Food Security Bill provides 5 kg of Cereals to each person covering 67% of India's population. Cereals can be Rice, Wheat, bajara, and jowar. It can be any of these. Rate at which this will be provided is Rs 3 for Rice, Rs 2 for Wheat, Rs 1 for bajara and jowar.

Central Govt will be burdened by Rs 1.3 Lakh Crore. (100 Lakh = 1 Crore. 10 Lakhs = 1 Million.) Management of food grain (procurement, distribution and arrangement of food grains at this level) will be another kind of work.

The food security bill does not look bad in itself. India is still poor and to make better India, we need healthier children. Disparity among families are still high. Wealth distribution is not equal nor it is any convincing for large population of India. It means, whatever we have done all along after independence is not enough. Govt plans to cover 67% of people under food security. It means 67% of people are at such state that they cannot feed themselves even at minimum level. In this case, and after seeing ourselves after long journey after independence, we know that we cannot do much better in recent years as well (Corruption, policy makers ineffectiveness, policy paralysis etc will always haunts us). Directly covering those from the bottom of the poorer make some promise about the development. At least they can ensure some energy for themselves and feel secured. Security will bread confidence in state and they will be in better position to plan their future. Healthier people will be less prone to terrorism and violence against society. They will become more tough to lure by anti social elements.

But then why people are opposing Food Security Bill? I oppose such move as these kind moves makes selection of Govt difficult on the basis of resource management, leadership, policy making, foreign policy and others. It even guard against high level of corruption. Ask why? Majority of votes will comes just for direct benefits to poor people and illiterates. They cannot think about corruption in coal mines allocation, bandwidth allocation (2G scam) etc. The burden will be larger with time as it will be almost impossible to increase the rate at which govt gives cereals due to impact on election but cereals price will rise. It means burden will rise. It became very easy to keep majority poorer and distribute few Roti(bread) to them from tax payers money. Majority votes make winning possible. This can lead India to darkness!

Hope for better Society in India. Hope better politicians got selected that lead to better and powerful India that can stand against outside forces.

Answer to Aamir Sohail's Question: Why India did not protested in World Cup?

India has protected the gaming spirit and World Cup by not protesting against the match in World Cup. That was a tournament with many countries and not bilateral tournament. India and its public could have protested  shown the maturity.
Another question Aamir Sohail has raised was not related to cricket. He has asked, why India talk with govt there when there is non democratic government? Vajpayee govt has done Lahore visit when there was democratic government. and it is not our fault when there there are always military government there. It is part of Pakistan society.

Lawyers are Behaving like a Unruly Group

Lawyers are behaving like a goon. They enjoy being near to law and knowledge of its code. They use lawyer logo on vehicle to tell the people that he is lawyer and enjoy the protection for law. It is difficult to fight with lawyers in court of law by a common man. So, no one raise voices against them.

Recently, two cases of very serious concern has happened in Bangalore. Not long ago similar event of Lawyer's unruly behaviors happened in Chennai. In January this year itself, lawyer created problem on Bangalore road and jammed it for 7 hours.

Today's Lawyers unruly behaviors started after Reddy accused in mining charges come to court for hearing. It is possible that it is planned for some political reason. But somewhere they know that they can use lawyers for their cause. and for this Lawyers fraternity is responsible. Lawyers thrown chair, stones and anything come into their hand on journalists, police and even students. According to them, journalists present their misbehaved with lawyers and that triggered the violence.

Don't Forget How you Supported Anna and his Dedicated Team

Now, Lokpal bill is going to pass in parliament and it will become a law, I request to all people who has supported Anna and his dedicated and intelligent team that do not forgot your good work and carry over wherever you go and whatever you do. This bill will enable few people to watch people in government and in judiciary but they can also become corrupt over time if you do not show anti-corrupt attitude. All the work will go waste and all money that is going to be spend on watch dog for anti-corruption will continue to go waste.

Our leaders are corrupt and dirty because we are like that in lesser extent. To handle people like us they need to be like that. Team Anna cannot say this otherwise you may not have supported them. So, they just pointed on few 'looking factual' thing. Ramdev baba just pointed on money stashed away in foreign bank. But the real point is corruption. Corruption will reduce and efficiency of government will increase only if we as common public carry it over. Government is dependent of bureaucrats. Then few people who work at high level of government offices and judiciary cannot dare to do at such extent. They are taking bribe in crores or lakhs of crores.

The burden lies to good people to unite and support other good people for good society. Only good people of our society can support good thing in society and they need to raise voice in common public for anything bad happening.

Yesterday, I came to know that Arvind Kejriwal has worked for activating RTI (Right To Information) at grassroot level. He is doing great work from long time in this regard. We will remember him for bringing this kind of most basic and important things. Now he has supported Anna and his team for bringing Jan Lokpal Bill.

Background of Jan Lokpal Bill

The word Lokpal was coined in 1963 by L.M.Singhvi, a Member of Parliament during a debate in Parliament about grievance redressal mechanisms. His son Dr. Abhishek Singhvi is now the head of the Parliamentary Standing Committee reviewing the bill. The prefix Jan (translation: citizens) was added to signify the fact that these improvements include input provided by "ordinary citizens" through an activist-driven, non-governmental public consultation.

The Lokpal bill was first introduced by Shanti Bhushan in 1968 and passed the 4th Lok Sabha (Lower house) in 1969. But before it could be passed by Rajya Sabha (upper house of the Parliament of India), Lok Sabha was dissolved and the bill lapsed. The Subsequent versions were re-introduced in 1971, 1977, 1985, 1989, 1996, 1998, 2001, 2005 and in 2008, but none of them passed. The bill is inspired of setting up an independent commission like Independent Commission Against Corruption (Hong Kong) (ICAC).

Yoga Guru Ramdev as Prime Minister / Baba's Political Party in Power

By this time all may be aware of Baba Ramdev. He is a yoga guru and has made a big brand of himself and his products. His products include teaching yoga at Haridwar, and Ayurvedic medicines. Ayurvedic medicine are selling like a cake at numerous shops around India. Established brands (Baidyanath, Zandu, Dabur,..) are feeling suffocated. His Ayurvedic products comes with the name of Patanjali.

Ramdev baba after making a brand of himself and his organization want to work for India in the field of political system. He want to give India a corruption free party. He also want to run the country by bringing his party to power. He is eying 2014 Lok Sabha (Parliament) election. According to plan, Ramdev Baba's party will contest all the 500+ seats in Lok Sabha. I am not opposed to his idea.

I am not opposed to Ramdev Baba's idea. I wish to support his cause for the country. I am not like whatever good someone says and I will go behind him for proving he is wrong. In India I have met this kind of creature in numbers. I wish society changes in this matter.

With moral support to Ramdev's cause and wish to see India a developed and happy country, I request Ramdev Baba to form a party at state level first and not at the country level. Talking about the MNC brand and Swadeshi (self-sufficiency) is very easy and it appeal to common masses. But on reality it is very difficult. Ramdev Baba need to work on the same society which is corrupt in its core. He cannot wish to get a different society when in power. Chalking out a plan for forcefully migrated Kashmari Pandits from his own home, plan for changing the mindset of people on corruption, plan for security of India and many many more very complex issues cannot be solved by just Swadeshi movement. I want to see how he perform when in government, when in power, how he handles people coming from corrupt society [India and don't idiotically think Bihar :)] where making money in anyway is mind game and a sign of intelligence. When he can successfully run a government at state level then we will be assured at some level. I am not demanding to cure all illness of any state before going to India level, but just asking for curing some of the problem Indian society is facing. He do not need to go to Bihar, a poor state compared to few. He can work for prosperous state like Karnataka, Maharashtra and others. Karnataka people are tired of all main parties here. You all know Godwa has given name to Karnataka as Kar-Nataka (do-drama), Yeddyurappa proved as feeble and corrupt, and we know here that congress party people are not different. So, at least win the state election here at Karnataka and show us your style of functioning. Then I will believe that he or his party at center is boon for the whole of India.

Abraham Lincoln’s Letter to his Son’s Teacher

The following is the supposedly a letter from Abraham Lincoln to a school teacher in his son school. I came to this after a search for the letter. I was reading a news article where the letter was mentioned. This gives us pointer about what should also be a part of syllabus. School syllabus should also have something related to moral building, how to deal with people and society and how to handle ourselves in situation of adversity. So, that people after schooling can be a better human. Better from mind & from soul and not just good in Math, Physics, etc which we may need or do not need in our lives.

IIM - Ahmadabad Graduates are not getting Job!!!

A new story here about IIM-A. A graduate from the institute has not landed a job and started selling vegetables!

Here is a story of Kaushalendra, who has graduated from prestigious IIM-A. Ahmedabad's IIM, I think is the best even among IIMs. Still, after getting the degree, Kaushalendra thought to choose selling vegetables as his career. He desires to sell vegetables from Bihar to whole of India. He is selling vegetables under the brand name of "Samriddhi" (progress). He want to make a brand Bihar. So, Bihar branded vegetable he want to sell. Be ready to buy vegetables from Bihar even you are living in different state. He has said to market in India only, so only qualification to be a customers of his company is to be an Indian. :)

You may have also listened a news that one guy from Bihar started helping Rickshaw pullers and want to change lives of rickshaw puller. Ya, that was a different one and not the same person forced to switch job after unsuccess ;). That Bihari IIM-A graduate is helping rickshaw puller instead of wishing to sit at revolving chair and in AC cabin. His name is Irfan Alam. His business concept has changed the lives of 5,000,00 rickshaw puller in eight states as reported in ibnlive by Oct, 2010 article.

A Thoughtful Paragraph in Indian Context

Here I have found a thoughtful paragraph in Indian context. Every Indian should introspect on it and try to make it incorrect in future. This holds try now and proved true in past but we need to change it.

Nitish is working like a wikiLeaks founder

Can Nitish survive this kind of tough solution for those many behind corruption? Nitish is planning to bring 'Right to Service' Bill in Bihar. Corrupt people combined may throw out Nitish or hope they will find many loopholes in the rule. I want Nitish to stay there even if he can work slowly. Corruption is so wide and strong here that you cannot fight it out easily. You may have listened news how whistle blower killed etc. He is taking a big risk by implementing such kind of tough solution. There is already a law in place which allow state government in Bihar to confiscate property of accused during trail by court approval. This has been implemented in 2010 in Bihar. The new Bill 'Right to Service' will come into affect in April,2011 as per plan. This Bill will make the public servant accountable for time framed service to public failing which the officials concerned could be penalized.

Recently, you may be listening that how WikiLeaks founder is opening the lid from many secrets. His life is in danger as he has taken challenges from top notch bureaucrats and politicians across countries by disclosing the secrets related to corruption, social crime on war prisoners etc. Hope WikiLeaks founder and Nitish Kumar (Bihar CM) can survive all troubles.

Update (13-Dec-2010): Recently Nitish is decided to end the MLA fund. Each MLA receive 3 crores every year for development. But all generally goes under corruption. Again, how he can think of it? How he will get approval from his party MLA and others!

United effort by South Asian Countries: South Asian University

South Asian countries has made an united effort to bring unity among South Asian Countries. The effort got fruit in the form of South Asian Universities. The concept of Universities got final approval at 14th SAARC Summit in New Delhi on 4th April, 2010.
The university will be based on global standard. The funding will be based on Public - Private partnership. So, that autonomy of the university will not be comprised. This will help in bureaucracy. The resources will be measured globally. Students will have quota from South Asian countries. So, it is not that Indian students will fill every seat as the university is in India. The university is currently running on temporary campus on JNU campus.

The first academic session has commenced in Aug, 2010 with two courses:

• MA in Development Economics
• Master of Computer Applications

Few students and faculties will be taken from non-SAARC countries as well. Few global faculties from non-SAARC countries will help filling best faculties in the university. non-SAARC student need to pay full course fee and they cannot access the subsidies fee available to non-SAARC students.

Divide And Rule – Old But Gold For Many

Divide and rule is old and we all know and learnt it that English has used it for their gain. They divided India's small ruler's spread across all over India. But the question is how much we pay attention to this for our own self gain in return of pity gain, given by these – sometimes intelligent and cunning politicians and many times cheap politicians. You will find these people at every place but we ignore it thinking they are not for me to hurt. But as soon as they succeed in getting us in tow parts, we as a simple person completely forgot another part (our own part earlier), and become true victim of their design.

Now, talking our own politician's only Raj and Bal thackery's motive is always that. Not only this, they do not have made other plan. Plan for development of maharashtra. Each politician has his or her group in mind for divided and rule. Congress has got larger group in mind – caste and creed, poor and rich. All caste has their role to play in traditional way. Now all are doing according to each person's own capacity in caste and not accruing to their caste original role in society. BJP has their group – Hindu and Muslim. Initially by not supporting the Terrorism cause (newly coined Hindi Terrorism), BJP has shown some limit in their divide and rule policy, but latter they taken a U-turn.

Like you have listened 'Hindu Terrorism', a new term, what will happen if you get some more terms like North Indian protection group, South Indian protection group, Marathi Manoos protection group. It will not be a new or very difficult task for India – a country of billion people. Moist survive, CPI(ML), many small and big terrorist organization and various sena outfits has survived. They are growing for some reasons. So, there is some who are getting benefits out of it. But how many getting pain from all these organizations, think also!
So, by helping these people, these organizations, few people from these group – few Shiv sainiks, few MSN workers, few Congress or BJP workers will gain and off course their patron leaders, if they have not been get targeted by opposite group!
