Pragya Singh Thakur Vs Kanhaiya Kumar - Who is better?

Pragya Singh Thakur was fielded against Digvijaya Singh. Both are against each other in Bophal, Madhya Pradesh.

Pragya Singh is accused in Malegaon Bomb blast in 2008. I do not know if she was involved in that blast or not. I cannot say anything as after Congress, BJP came to power in 2014 and from there things took U-turn. It is only investigative agency who can comment on her.

Kanhaiya Kumar was a JNU student leader and is fighting from Begusarai, Bihar. He was accused in the involvement of Anti-India sloganeering in JNU. Again, if he shouted or not with them, I cannot say for sure.

In both of the above cases, you as citizens of India or resident of social media must have formed some kind of opinion. You may not like to share openly on this controversial topic but Twitter Poll is anonymous. No one, including me, can know who voted what AND who participated in the Poll. So, vote your voice on Twitter. Let other know who is better.

This question arise and became more important as both were cases of Nationalism. BJP and whole brigade use Kanhaiya Kumar as Anti-National but Pragya Thakur as Nationalist. Now, this nationalist theory can be different in everyone's mind!

A burning Question - Who is more nationalist than other? Who is better for India?

Think as if You were given a situation where Sadhvi Pragya Singh and Kanhaiya Kumar both are fighting election and you have no choice but to vote of one. Whom will you vote for?

Kanhaiya Kumar

Pragya Singh

Young PM or CM is not just enough!

Here is a strong proof that shows it is not enough to choose CM and PM or any other post that need leaders based on age, caste etc.

Akhilesh Yadav is a young CM and when he sworn as UP CM then UP got lots of media attention. People showed hope in them not only inside but also outside of state. But result is before all of us.

Read this article fully to understand what and how much wrong has happened till date in UP. It will take years to correct the wrong doing of SP government by any party that may come to power in future.

What is Modi's Gujarat Model Exactly?

Now, you may have heard many times about Modi's Gujarat model of development. What it is about? Is it any useful to country or it is just a hype? How do you decide about it?

No one with right mind can say that Modi will implement all policies of his state. As a enable leader, he will decide about anything based on the situation. But MoneyControl has published an article about What is Gujarat model all about. Excerpt from there:

Going by the agri-GDP growth registered at state-level during the 2000s, Gujarat tops the list with 9.8 percent per annum growth, up from a meagre 2 percent during 1990s.

Compare this with the Kerala model, where agri-GDP growth has been zero for the 2000s (down from 1.3 percent during 1990s). Or with UP or Tamil Nadu or West Bengal models, all of which registered less than 3 percent growth in agriculture during 2000s.”
Gujarat environment is business-friendliness.

There is economic freedom. What is it? Read the article. Link is given below.
Gujarat has topped the Economic Freedom of States in India rankings for the third time in a row.
Gujarat has the lowest “Muslim rural poverty rate among all states. Its overall poverty rate for Muslims (11.4 percent) was far lower than for Hindus (17.6 percent).”
Herein lies the critical differentiator with Gujarat. Both Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu did better than Gujarat on the overall growth story, but Gujarat has excelled in agriculture. What it has done is applied trickle down economics to agriculture – and it has worked.
Aiyar’s conclusion: “Gujarat has good governance. It has social and communal flaws. But it is India's top state in economic and agricultural freedom. That's not hype.”
HDI (Human Development Indicator) is low when think about developed state. It is in middle of the rank in country. It is above Karnataka but lower than Kerala, TN, and Maharashtra.

Clearly, this is where the Gujarat model of trickle down is not good enough to lift the really poor – socially and economically – out of their misery quickly. Here, Modi’s critics do have a point. Gujarat ranks 11th among 23 states in HDI .

Gujarat’s tribal population is nearly 15 percent of the total (14.79 percent, to be exact), which is nearly twice as large as Maharashtra’s (8.87 percent) and more than twice as large as Karnataka’s (6.55 percent), or Andhra Pradesh’s (6.53 percent). Tamil Nadu and Kerala, the states with far better human development indicators than Gujarat, have barely 1 percent tribal population.

The return on investment in public enterprises has doubled under his tenure to seven percent, according to state audit reports. While Modi has hived off the state’s electricity utilities he has not privatised them for fear they will not care for non-creamy customers.”

Modi is Impotent: Salman Khurshid. Why is this Kind of Attack?

I think the personal comment on Narendra Modi and remembering Godhra by Salman Khurshid is related to desperation that Muslims is becoming more and more rational.

Recently many times you may have noticed that Congress is trying to play communal card. Why anyone refer to Muslims in Maharashtra and tells its ministers that there should not be any discrimination against Muslims when cases come related to terrorism. It is not that Muslims are put in jail just due to their religion. If we see correctly then we all know that there are many cases where poor are inside jail because they cannot fight legal case well etc. So, it is not about Muslims but correction are needed for general masses, if any. There are other examples where you may remember in recent times that Congress has tried to flare up communal card by unrealistically remembering Godhra etc. Why congress is doing so?

Congress, is not happy that BJP is not pressing temple issue etc. BJP has change the course of its political path and it is better on its path of development and through this, it is better working on nationalism. This kind of nationalism is best suited for all castes and creeds. This stance of BJP is not working well for Congress ideology. Change is BJP and change is Muslims are in sync and surely this is very disturbing for Congress, if you try to understand. How can Congress gather free vote in-mass from Muslim community without fear? If trend continues in Muslims then Muslim vote bank will be empty and Muslims will be seen casting vote for reason other than fear. Congress is trying to listen hard line from BJP so that Muslims feel they are only safe with Congress's dirty hand. Somehow BJP has not done anything super dirty or can be seen as super dirty to send Muslims on back foot.

At the time of this Lok Sabha election, Congress highly needed communal card work for them so that BJP's development plan fails. BJP has proof about its development plan but not that strongly for secularism in the eye of Muslims.

Communal card is not working well this time. I saw yesterday on a TV channel, one Muslim leader clearly saying that Muslims should stop voting for fear. and Congress and all others have just used community vote as vote bank and has not done anything good.

Ok, my thinking is that no one can do good for any community in the name of community. Who has done that in past that is real and worked well for community and country at the same time! Development based on social justice is the only option all community should try to look in political parties plan. If any community is laggard in basic requirements then society (or state or country) should support that community so that they can prepare for the future and that community can be any community.

Khurshid attack on Modi is desperation in Congress and they thought that Modi may be deviated by the attack on body. Luckily there are many leaders in India who are unmarried (Mayawati, Jayalalitha, Atal Bihari Vajpaye, Uma Bharthi, and ?).

Why AAP should Join BJP in Delhi for Now?

AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) should join BJP in Delhi for now. Many Supporters of Aam Aadmi Party would ask straight that why AAP should work with BJP. This party is so different that it cannot join any party.

Broom: party symbol of AAP

Straight to the Point: Why should AAP Join BJP ?

  • To Gain Experience in politics and show us their work.
  • To accept common people verdict which AAP claims to represent: BJP is lagging by just 2 seats and Congress is routed in Delhi. It means people's mandate is with BJP and AAP. Mandate is with Aam Aadmi Party as well, as in just one year AAP got so many seats.
  • It is a social change and AAP party should accept it and support it. It should be ready to go with any - Congress, BJP or any other in the circumstances like this, where votes are very polarized toward certain party or parties. Currently votes are for AAP and BJP. In society, untouchability should not be practiced and in similar way AAP should not practice it and work toward change.
  •  To Show Political Maturity:
    • How they are going to tackle corruption: What Arvind Kejriwal is going to do when his own party member face any charge of corruption or complete mismanagement, etc. Common people may be dreaming of everything superb but practaclly it is not possible that whoever Arvind would select will be supper good. So, we need proof of his handling of state affair.
    • What innovation he is going to apply in policy making? He know well why people selected him. This is the main reason educated people given votes to him. People voted him to bring fresh air to politics. People want to change the system and AAP supremo also claim to do this. Therefore, when he will be in power then we will see what actually he delivers.
    • How he is going to handle POWER. Ya, once in power for sometime how he is going to handle everything and how he makes others party members follow him.
    • Management of AAP party: Management of his own party will be tremendeous task and he cannot deny that. Once in power, how is arrange everything so that everyone is in control. He need to get a kind of Board Members to check everything. He cannot do everything a party need to do. So, how he is going to manage everything? How he arranges people? How he identify people to represent common man? We remember, JP movement could not deliver due to many of the above reasons.
It all can gives People of India  a chance to understand - What AAP is and Why should people vote for Aam Aadmi Party in Lok Sabha Election 2014?

Sushil Kumar Shinde Promoted to Home Minister. Reason ?

Watching CNN-IBN on the cabinet rejig today when world's worst power crisis happen till date. I read why  Sushil Kumar Shinde made Home Minister when we are facing power crisis. Keshava Rao, a congressman replies -  He is the one who came from backward caste rose to this place. He was this and that and now he is home minister. The only point he has for Shinde candidature was that he is a dalit. Another guest available on the show made the point that he failed everywhere whatever post he has taken. Maharashtra CM, Power Minister and other, he has not done anything good at those places. Even congress made a point that he is even week politician at one point.

Congress has a habit of promoting his man based on loyalty to party. In the process, congress party does not think of Country. Loyal to country! No, this is not a required criteria either for the party. Made President (prathibha  Patil) just because of loyalty as you know. This was just an example. There are many such cases.

Congress (INC) work is to mess with External Affairs

Congress party has a record in messing thing of Foreign relation. One living example is Kashmir issue. Even after winning the war with Pakistan, we are the looser. We lost our territory, and loosing many thing since then. We lost the peace along the border and inside.

now, another example is dam on river Brahmaputra. Why the government has not taken it very early. Matter of this magnitude cannot be taken latter. China or any country will not listen anything after everything settled. They will surely try to defend their action. After doing all the mess, we are left with facing problem and letting other countries to do the same thing with us. It shows our very soft, breakable policies.

More can be read on net:
-India outraged. But the government reacts meekly
-China's refusal to have water-sharing pacts may have serious consequences for India

Greed of BCCI and other Sports Governing Body in India

Any Indian and other countries who know the state of sports in India know the pathetic condition of sports in India. India barely manage to get Gold in Olympic and other major tournaments in any form of game. Still sport is highly neglected issue in India. May be because our politician know well that sports count negligibly when it comes to vote bank. They cannot increase vote on count of Sport condition. Our policies and promises (false!) moves around the illiterate or very poor voters in India. And it is true that those poor people deprived of even basic facilities cannot think of sport at International level or at any level. So, politicians and others who can control do not think of it much.

Very recently in Jun/Feb 2010, you may have listened, how our Hockey National players who were going to play hockey at World Cup 2010 was treated when they asked their due. They just asked their due and money and not money for free. So, what you can expect out of the team where they are going to give fight to top nations and players prepared in developed nations!

The same problem (money problem) is not here in cricket but the problem of negligence, greed and politics is here in the form of selection and schedule. After the last World Cup 2007 debacle. That time Dhoni was selected and selection was corrected as I felt. But that was not only for sprots but that was possibly for money. Cricket blows like a wind in India. Money comes like a free fall leaves in Autumn. So, at least for money and advertiser do not go away from cricket sponsorship right selection was done and that worked as well. The result is before you as First in Test ranking and 2nd in ODI from 5th place at that time.

Greed has shown in recent months in the form of IPL deals and too tight schedule. IPL board and BCCI has done deals where it was not clear who owns which team. Shilpa Shetty has said, "I wake to know that I do not own a team". Shilpa Shetty own Rajasthan Royals IPL team. Papers were not correct and there can be corruption in tax but only big parties was involved so that can be buried with time.

Recently in a weeks time, team need to prepare for T20 World Cup 2010. After one and half months play for Indian Premier League they need to perpare for T20 World Cup. Final played on April 25th 2010. T20 World cup first mathc played on Friday April 30th. All teams played warm up matches but Indian team cannot play any warm-up match due to the schedule problem. Warm-up matches started from April 27. West Indies pitch is bouncy and it is well know to all teams. And it is also well known that Indian players are week on bouncy pitch still no warm-up match planned there. This is all due to schedule which is not decided by players but only management. Due to security issue IPL was not played on time and shifted to the schedule you know. But World Cup is important and this must be respected. Because tournament like this is very important and it is every teams responsibility to make it a success. So, when a team do not try to perform well, how can one know that the best teams are playing there and those who ever will win is really a very good team. Indian players are not given chance to play well due to hectic schedule set by BCCI and IPL governing body. So, it is not the players but the management of IPL that need to be punished.

BCCI has decided to snatch captianship from captain Dhoni for his small remark that parties are responsible for the bad performance of player. So, must not have made IPL responsible for the performance but he said about parties after IPL play because he know that how much money IPL make for all. So, he just said in a low voice instead of telling in loud voice that IPL is responsible. But people are telling that parties cannot be responsible for the defeat. It is true it is not the parties but the greed who is responsible for such a defeat. Gary Kristen had warned about this previously but instead of listening to it, he has given gag order by the management.Times of India has posted a very pointed summary on 13th, May about India's T20 World Cup debacle. After lots of criticism, MS Dhoni is saved from BCCI axe for now but lets see who and when anyone become a scapegoat of BCCI.

More on T20 World cup row over India's early exit:
Axing Dhoni will put us back by 5 years: Dilip Vengsarkar
Gavaskar, Akram bat for embattled Dhoni
Dhoni not to be replaced as T20 captain, says BCCI

BJP supporters launched "Friends Of BJP"

Friends of BJP has launched a website to get support for the BJP in the coming Lok Sabha election. Their view is not essentially match with the BJP. Supporter of BJP think of BJP as a most capable party in the coming Lok Sabha election.

On Saturday 28, Feb 2009, Arun Jaitely has launched the "Friend of BJP" in Mumbai.

Friends of BJP can subscribe of daily updates on sub@friendsofbjp.org or via SMS 4BJP to 575758.

BJP has recently thought of many ways to get support of educated people and start a discussion with them. This is very encouraging sign as political parties do not try to face educated people for vote. Educated people can help country by becoming a part of the Indian policies. It is not essential that one must be PM to help the country. One can be a party activist or simple volunteer to effect the policies of the political parties. They can influence the decision made by political parties. and it will be very fruitful for the Nation.

Comment on Raj Thackeray Politics

Most of M a h a r a s h t r a Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray’s business associates are non-Marathis. His confidante, Sunil Harshe, is based in Dubai, looking after Raj’s vast business interests in the UAE. Both Thackeray’s children are at English-medium schools. His son, who entered college this year, chose to study German instead of Marathi. When Thackeray was part of the Shiv Sena, he would often oblige non-Marathi contractors looking for work with the Sena-controlled Mumbai municipal corporation. Thackeray also smokes the best imported cigarettes and sips high-end Scotch and cognac. He loves to drive a Mercedes or Pajero and is a charming host even if his guests don’t speak Marathi. Raj Thackeray is the most cosmopolitan Mumbaikar one could meet at Shivaji Park, where he lives in an elegant penthouse.

Raj appears to be following in the footsteps of his uncle, Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray. But there is a crucial difference. In the sixties and seventies, Thackeray senior accused south Indians of robbing Marathis of jobs in banks, the insurance sector and elsewhere. It was a rant with a reason. The Maharashtrian middle class faced a very real problem. Over the years, the Shiv Sena took corrective steps to recruit lakhs of Marathis to large organizations. Thackeray senior’s protest had a political sub-text. At the instigation of the ruling Congress, it was meant to strike at the communists who were controlling many trade unions in the metropolis.
The nephew is marching to a different drummer. Raj has had virtually to invent an enemy — the hapless bhaiyya. First and most important, there just aren’t many jobs available in the commercial capital of India facing recession. Migrants to Mumbai work in sweatshops; drive cabs and autos. They are not a major threat to unemployed sons-of-the-soil.

Raj’s outbursts have a political background. The state’s Democratic Front government comprises Congress and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). But as Shiv Sena executive president and Raj’s bete noire, Uddhav Thackeray, says, the government is a non-performing one. He has consistently evoked an excellent response on his extensive tours of the state’s different districts precisely because he lambasts the state government for its ‘‘failure on every front.’’ The government has not added a single MW to the state’s power generation capacity. Maharashtra is facing a 5,500-MW shortage of power. Fuel shortage means the mega power plant at Dabhol on the Konkan coast hardly produces any electricity at all. Hundreds of farmers in Vidarbha’s cotton belt continue to commit suicide. Maharashtra’s infrastructure is almost, but not quite, on a par with Bihar.

Raj Attacks on North Indian and Burning Bihar

Raj attacked on North Indian railway exam aspirant and not only on Bihari people. On the Railway Examination day Raj men attacked on any one who their people think are outside of the state. It is different matter that one aspirant died is Bihari. Many injured from other states too.

Bihar is unnecessary taking on its on. It is right Bihar must fight for this 'gundagardi' in Mumbai but by resorting to violence and reacting on their own it looks fighting with Raj Thackery is Bihar only job. All other states have played trick by siding itself. On that day students from all India would be there. Student from Bihar, Bangal, Uttar Predesh and other states are targeted. All states must have raised concern in one voice. Still, if Bihar feels need to fight with Thackerays'(Raj and Bal) then they must fight in Mumbai itself through community development and whatever actions they can take there. Just using violence in Bihar is not helping their cause.

Raj Thackeray and Bal Thackeray wants to polarize the Maharashtra politics for their gain in coming elections. Both do not have anything to do for Maharashtra people. Bal Thackeray is already taken benefits of this by polarizing the vote back against South Indian.

Blast After Blast Political Scenario Is Same

Blast after blast political scenario has not changed in India. Its focus is on whether a decision is anti-minority (read Muslim) or not, a just discussed topic is suitable for vote-bank or not. The focus is not on how many blasts and security lapse have been avoided. Maximum we think about how soon we returned into normalcy after blasts.

Earlier, a blast or serial blast happens in a year or two. Now you can see our neighbor state is so focused in their plan that blasts is happening on monthly basis. Terrorists also blown Indian embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan. Our leaders are not making any focused long term strategy. Every time something wrong happens and they discuss it but never come up with what has happened with the old policy. What was the flaw in old policy and their implementation?

Enemy has started taking advantage of local problems also. It can device a plan for taking advantage of migrants issue, religious issues and now it even talked about Gujjar – Mina issue.

Crude Oil Price and Inflation in India

Two topics in news paper are making much news and taking large space in news papers these days. It becomes a masala for the next general election. These both have the potential for affecting the result of the next Lok Sabha Election.

Both, Oil Price and Inflation, directly hit the common man. With such a huge price hike in petrol even well off man is going to hit with this sharp price rise in crude price. BJP may be thinking it also got something using which Congress won the election. Congress hyped about the progress of India card used by the BJP not helping the poor and village people. Now with this much inflation due to crude price and the bad state of the world's economy Indian economy is also facing the heat and BJP is going to gain from this situation.

BJP terrified with its long term ally and Hindutva partner

BJP faced a hard time over the news on SAMANA. – Shiv Sena’s Bal Thackeray commanded news circulation. BJP is in good place for the next Lok Sabha election and it becomes mature (at least this time it looks) over time. Bal Thackeray has commented that there must be a hindu suicide squad for countering Muslim terrorist in India.

BJP clearly distanced itself from the view of Bal Thackeray . It said that this is a law and order problem and must be handled by the government machinery. With this quick distance over the issue like this, BJP saved its face from its allies likely to join the NDA force in next election.
