Responsible Tourism is not just to make the travel experience more meaningful, but also to enable understanding of local culture, social and environment issues. It also help in making tourism more economically viable.
In India, the International Center for Responsible Tourism (ICRT) oversees the certification of resorts and place under Responsible Tourism (RT).
